This vase has a weave of yellow, orange, lemongrass and dark green with a bit of white swirls on the outside and an inner glow of red enhance by an textural lacy rim of the same colors.  This will be a beautiful addition to any home décor.  It also makes a special, unique, artisan made gift. 

The artistic process:  I started by weaving glass with yellow, orange, lemongrass and dark green with some swirls of white behind.  this was fired into a weave first then the weave was fired with a back of transparent red.  Glass of each of the colors was ground into small bits then added along the edges and fired to a tack fuse.  The final step is to drape the glass over a stainless steel cone shape to create this unique shaped vase.
