This bowl is food safe and a perfect size for meals, snacks and more.  Its also a beautiful bowl to display when not using. 

Artistic Process:

I layered red, white and blue transparent in a pattern then melted it at high temperatures then cut the glass up into small sizes and fired into pebbles and cabochons.  I then melted all the "pebbles" together in a dammed shape. 

This glass was extra thick.  The glass was then cold worked to make the edges smooth and then fired hot to thin and fire polish. It was then kilnformed into an organic wavy bowl shape.
