Purple Pizzazz

Glass art sculpture  depicting the shining, sparkling paths we can dream of and take.  The background is black and then is layered with purple glass paths, along with dichroic glass.  

The glass stand is kilnformed into a shape to support the sculpture with coldworking to ensure the bottom is level and sturdy. 

Dimensions:  9" wide x 10"tall x 3.5" deep

• Dichroic glass - Thin layers of metallic oxides, such as titanium, silicon, and magnesium are deposited upon the surface of the glass in a high temperature, vacuum furnace. This creates a brilliant coating on the glass that displays more than one color, especially when viewed from different angles.
