Inspiration: Enjoying the hummingbirds in our garden and at the feeder.
This sculpture has a cute hummingbird enjoying a beautiful orange trumpet flower with a ladybug. It looks great on its own, in a window or with a candle behind it.
It makes a wonderful gift for a hummingbird lover.
Artistic Process: The background is glass made with transparent glass that iI made to look like the sky and the grass with clear glass on top. The hummingbird, flower and leaves are glass murrini and the ladybug is made by me in glass. All were tack fired to the background.
The glass is inserted into a "clamp that is adjustable to keep it tight on a clear acrylic stand.
