Inspiration: the amazing vistas in Patagonia and the Andes in South America
Artistic Process: First I designed a color pallet with flow and movement in mind. After cutting glass and laying out into my initial design pattern, the glass was dammed to contain it, the kiln was programmed to slowly rise to over 1700 degree Fahrenheit then I put on protective gear and opened the kiln. After observing the look at how the glass had formed in its molten state, I raked the glass to create a design with more movement and flow, then the glass was annealed and cooled, cold-worked and finished into a design. After cold-working the edges smooth and straight and fired in the kiln for a fire. polish.
