This hummingbird with red flowers on a sparkling blue iridescent background is a perfect suncatcher or ornament as it will sparkle in both the sunlight and with tree lights.  

Artistic Process: the background is glass that has a metallic coating to provide the iridescent shimmers.  The hummingbird and flowers are kilncasted.  All were tack fired to the background.
