Fall along the River; aka. Fall at the Lake

Inspiration:  kayaking in the fall

Artistic Process:  The background is 2 layers of glass of different colors fused together.  Glass elements were added in multiple firings to make the trees, rocks and leaves with lower firing temperatures to create a very textural sculpture

The glass stand is kilnformed into a shape to support the sculpture with coldworking to ensure the bottom is level and sturdy.
