A dreamy heart shaped bowl in blues and purples with pink and white highlights that is a statement of love that looks beautiful displayed on a stand or used for many functions including food, candy, trinkets, jewelry, watches and so much more.
Artistic Process: The first step was cutting multiple layers of different glasses with shards of glass on top in a specific pattern inside a stainless steel frame in the shape of a heart as a dam to contain the glass. Using a specific program to ramp up and hold the heat in the kiln to spread and stretch the glass to create a unique design. After coldworking the edges, the heart is fire polished in the kiln.
The final step is to form the glass into a heart bowl.
