Inspiration: Spring is here when the daffodils bloom...
Daffodils line this welcoming path. 3D, daffodils, rocks on the trail add texture and depth. it stands on its own.
Artistic Process: The background is glass made with various warm shades of yellows, oranges and reds swirled with a clear glass on top for more depth in the movement. The daffodils are casted in a pate de verre technique and then were tack fired to the background. The final firing was to form the glass into a shape that stands on its own.
Dimensions: 5.5" wide x 6" tall x 2.5" deep
