Crimson Surge

Inspiration: Vibrant bursting blooms 

Artistic Process:  The first step was cutting many curvy and wavy pieces of glass in a variety of shades of reds  These were then laid out into a design on lime green glass.  I then added bits of glass and shimmering dichroic glass.   This was fired in the kiln to a temperature that smoothed the edges of the glass while keeping the texture and depth.
