Inspiration: The wonderful large fields of sunflowers as well as sunflowers in my friend;s backyard.
Artistic Process: The sunflowers were casted separately. A background of 2 layers of swirling green transparent glass was fired separately. A third firing in the kiln to fuse the sunflowers to the background glass. It is installed in a black round frame on a stand.
