Inspiration: The feeling of liveliness, sprightliness, excitement and being full of life.
Artistic Process: The first step was cutting multiple layers of different glasses with shards of glass on top in a specific pattern inside a stainless steel mold as a dam to contain the glass. Using a specific program to ramp up and hold the heat in the kiln to spread and stretch the glass to create a unique design. After coldworking the edges, I then made an interesting glass and cut to add to the back to make both sides interesting and fired them together.
The glass stand is made of casted ambers in an oval shape. There are bumpons on the bottom.
Dimensions: 7.5" wide x 7" tall x 4.5" deep
