Undulating Pizzazz - mini

Inspiration: Glass art sculpture  depicting the shining, sparkling paths we can dream of and take. 

Artistic Process: The background is 2 layers of black and then is layered with organic cuts of glass paths, with added dichroic glass.  

The glass stand is kilnformed into a shape to support the sculpture with coldworking to ensure the bottom is level and sturdy. 

Dimensions:  5.5" wide x 7" tall x 3" deep

• Dichroic glass - Thin layers of metallic oxides, such as titanium, silicon, and magnesium are deposited upon the surface of the glass in a high temperature, vacuum furnace. This creates a brilliant coating on the glass that displays more than one color, especially when viewed from different angles.
