Inspiration: A colorful design that looks fantastic and different in any lighting with symmetry and motion. This sculpture looks different when the light comes from behind then when the light is direct from the front, some of the glass with reflect and infract different sparkling colors depending on the light and angle.
Artistic process:. Hard-Edged Kiln-Fired technique. Based on a design I sketched, I selected and cut glass into the layout with precise cutting and grinding. After capping with a circle of clear, it was fired to a full fuse. I added embellishments that sparkle and add additional depth and texture. It was then fired to tack them on creating texture. It is installed in a black round frame on a stand.
