The artistic process: I start by designing and laying out the colors of glass and firing in the kiln to a full fuse. The final step is to drape the glass over a stainless steel cone shape to create this unique shaped vase. By using extra heat and time the glass forms close to the stainless steel and forms a rim at the kiln floor.
