Blooming Yellow
Kilnformed wall art - I designed the colors and structure of the glass and then manipulated the glass at high temperatures to swirl the colors into patterns for the floral-like background. After cold working, the glass is firepolished while adding texture. The butterflies, bee and ladybug are kiln-casted and installed with rare earth magnets and nesting standoffs, giving you option to exchange butterflies and easier to ship, move and install.
The artwork is mounted on hidden stainless steel, wired for hanging with welded brackets to keep the artwork flat and straight on the wall with no tilting.
