Sparkling Path

Inspiration: Glass art sculpture  depicting the shining, sparkling path we can dream of and take. 

Artistic Path:   The path through the black glass is made of various dichroic glass in a mosaic pattern.   

The glass stand is kilnformed into a shape to support the sculpture with coldworking to ensure the bottom is level and sturdy. 

Dimensions:  8" wide x 9"tall x 3.5" deep

• Dichroic glass - Thin layers of metallic oxides, such as titanium, silicon, and magnesium are deposited upon the surface of the glass in a high temperature, vacuum furnace. This creates a brilliant coating on the glass that displays more than one color, especially when viewed from different angles.
