Serenity

Inspiration:  The beauty of the ocean and the serenity of sitting on the beach watching the ocean. 

Using some transparency in the glass to create one effect when the light is behind the art and a different look when the light is in front of the art (such as if its in front of a window -- it will look different during the day and at night). 

Artistic Process: Cutting and making glass to depict the ocean, beach and sky and putting that all together using the heat of the kiln to fuse them together and then add texture to the sand and ocean with a lower firing temperature in the kiln.   

This stand is unique and an eye catcher.  The glass slides into place.
