Inspiration:  The patterns of a butterfly in the radiance of the sun 

Artistic Process:  First, I manipulated the glass with colors and patterns at high temperatures.  I then added more colors and stretched the glass to a larger size.    After coldworking, the glass was then cut into a design and formed into a shape. 

The glass stand is made of multiple layers of blue transparent glass.   The Sculpture is adhered to the stand with bumpons on the bottom.
