Inspiration: finding the color and sparkle among the shadows
Artistic Process: First the design, then cutting 2 squares of glass - one grey transparent and one clear. These were fused together. Then lots of measuring and marking for the triangle design. the triangles were made with glass powder mixed with water and then combined to create a marbled effect of black, grey with a bit of white. This design was left to dry and then fired to the background. Then added ground glass of same colors along the edges and were fired to a tack fuse. The final step is to drape the glass over a stainless steel cone shape to create this unique shaped vase.
