Mighty River

Inspiration:  Enjoying kayaking on the river as well as admiring the power of the river. 

The curved sculpture looks great on its own, in a window or as a candle screen with a candle behind it.  

Artistic Process: The glass was cut and put together in a design and fused together.  Then glass rocks and water ripples were fired on to add interest and texture.  The final firing was to form the glass into its curved shape with the bottom ground so it stands level and stable.
