Artistic Process: I made the glass lace first using colors in a pattern inspired by sunsets. I then made a background of 2 layers of glass to achieve the right background color to make the sunset more complete. A third firing in the kiln to bring the lace and background glass together. It is installed in a black round frame on a stand.
