Inspiration: Enjoying the hummingbirds in our garden.
The curved sculpture looks great on its own, in a window or as a candle screen with a candle behind it.
Artistic Process: The background is glass made with various shades of green swirled with a clear glass on top for more depth in the movement. The hummingbird, butterflies and flowers are kilncasted. All were tack fired to the background. The final firing was to form the glass into its curved shape with the bottom ground so it stands level and stable.
