Frolicking among the Blue Hibiscus Blooms

This Glass art sculpture has an abstract background of different shades of green.  Kiln-casted butterflies and bees are installed with rare-earth magnets raising them above the background for flight and reflections on the background.  They are also kiln-formed so that their wings are flying in a V shape.  The large kiln-casted blue hibiscus flower is installed with a stand-off made for glass installations adding depth and additional dimension.  The kiln-casted small blue hibiscus, ladybug and caterpillar are fused with the background.  2 Butterflies are made with glass powder directly on the background.  

The stand is made of black iron.
