Inspiration: Enjoying the Festival of butterflies at Powell Gardens.
Artistic Process: The butterflies were cut out of a dichroic glass mosaic with a Rig Saw and fire polished in the kiln. The various flowers are kilncasted and the "stems" was a special glass stringer melting technique. All were tack fired in the design to 2 fused layers of glass for the background.
This stand is black iron.
