Zing- This beautiful large bowl makes a statement on display. This bowl is food safe and a perfect size for meals, serving side dishes and more. The edges will reflect the light and radiate when on display.
Artistic Process: This bowl was made by cutting multiple layers of different glasses with shards of glass on top in a specific pattern inside a stainless steel round mold as a dam to contain the glass. Using a specific program to ramp up and hold the heat in the kiln to spread and stretch the glass to create a unique design. I then cut a circle of amazon green glass to create a better looking back and fired with an additional clear glass on top while also stretching the glass larger. The final step was to form into the shape of an organic wavy deep bowl.
