Swirls of Black, Red, Grey and Blue Bowl 8"

This bowl is food safe and a perfect size for meals, snacks and more.  Its also a beautiful bowl to display when not using. 

Artistic Process:

I layered black, grey and red and separately black, red and blue in flow patterns then melted it at high temperatures then cut the glass up into small sizes and fired into "pebbles" (rounded pieces) making swirls of colors.  I then melted all the "pebbles" together in a dammed shape. 

This bowl is extra thick.  The dammed glass was then cold worked to make the edges smooth and then kilnformed into a bowl shape.
