Yellow and Red Shapes Small "Scape"

My inspiration: creating small scenes that are embedded in thick glass.  Making the glass thick in an unusual shape for depth and interest.  Small so there are lots of options for displaying including on a desk.  

Abstract open yellow and red Murrini in a glass sculpture that also functions as a stand-up paperweight. 

Artistic process: Casting glass in layers to create a design with depth and dimension with inclusions of murrini.  Glass cane with floral design is cut into short murrini and embedded in the kilncasting for the small scape. 

The bottom is ground to ensure a flat surface.

Dimensions (approximate): 4" tall x 5" wide x 1.5"deep
