Blues and Clear Wavy Bowl

This bowl is food safe and a perfect size for meals, snacks and more.  Its also a beautiful bowl to display when not using. 

Artistic Process:

I made tapestry type glass in shades of blue and cut it into strips.  These strips were laid on their side with clear glass to create this pattern in a controlled shape.  The glass was then cold worked to make the edges smooth and then fired to fire polish. It was then kilnformed into an organic wavy bowl shape.
