Reach Out

Reach Out -- inspired during the Covid pandemic and the desire to reach out to our friends and family.  

Artistic Process:  The background was created to represent earth.  To make the hands, I first created mosaics of dichroic glass, fired in the kiln and then cut into shapes of hands.  the design was then assembled and tack fused together to the background.  This was mounted in the shadow box frame. 

This can be hung on the wall or displayed on a table/shelf.
