This plate is sized to function as a plate for salad, dessert, condiments, sides, snacks and more. It also looks great on display. Versatile and food safe.
How its made: This plate was made by hand cutting green transparent glass and clear glass to size I cut a strip out of the green transparent glass and inserted a strip of glass that I created a pattern of colors with a bit water color effect. The clear square is placed on top and then I added a bit more fun and color with "glass confetti" sprinkled around the design which also added depth to the colors. These are fired to a full fuse to make them smooth and food safe The final step was to form into the shape of a plate with a shallow interior.
