This plate is sized to function as a plate for salad, dessert, condiments, sides, snacks and more. It also looks great on display. Versatile and food safe.
How its made: This plate was made by hand cutting Black and Yellow glass, then cutting a channel in both and switching one side so that yellow and black are reversed on back and front and the center channel has cut glass in an abstract design in an organic channel shape. There is a clear glass as a base layer making 3 layers of glass, These are fired to a full fuse to make them smooth and food safe The final step was to form into the shape of a plate with an origami offset shallow interior.
